Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce System Administrator who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business needs of our Salesforce CRM users. As a successful Salesforce Administrator, you have the opportunity and responsibility to maintain the Salesforce Org, provide system support case triage, make changes to the Salesforce configuration, create policies and procedures, as well as to guide, train, and manage our users on the Salesforce CRM platform(s). You will collaborate with other members of the Salesforce team as well as various departments to gather requirements, customize Salesforce to meet business needs and ensure the system is tested, validated and operating efficiently.

  • Administer and configure MSA’s Salesforce CRM platform based on best practices.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Salesforce best practices, functionality and capabilities.
  • Evaluate and implement third-party Salesforce apps and integrations as needed using the company defined change management plan.
  • Manage daily Salesforce CRM platform support and maintenance tasks.
  • Support user requests for customer information.
  • Remain current with Salesforce releases, features, and updates to provide recommendations for process improvements and future integrations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of MSA’s global CRM strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job.
  • 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM201) is required; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightening is required; experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, or other products is a plus.
  • Expertise in Salesforce configuration, and customization
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering Salesforce projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or scrum methodologies is preferred.
