Serves as a senior law enforcement officer for the University. Directs lower level law enforcement officers, coordinates their activities, and ensures all enforcement officers adhere to relevant standards. Enforces state laws and University regulations to prevent criminal activity. Performs budgetary functions, prepares security briefings, and implements department goals

Ensures public safety in a multi cultural environment. Police Officer duties include vehicular and foot patrol of University property; enforcement of criminal and traffic laws; protection of persons and property; investigation of crimes; completion of police reports; testimony in court; and assistance to other law enforcement agencies.
