We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, IWM Portfolio Manager to join our Tax-Managed Equity Portfolio Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is eligible for hybrid work arrangement.

Description:

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Team Leaders to oversee the Tax-Managed Equity product and execute daily portfolio management responsibilities.
  • Responsibilities include constructing and rebalancing equity portfolios through the utilization of risk models and optimization programs. This involves managing the balance between portfolio risk and capital gains while also monitoring both index changes and corporate actions.
  • Monitor the Tax-Managed Equity team's rebalancing dashboard, analyze portfolio risk and performance, and ensure adherence to client guidelines and objectives.
  • Play a key role in communicating portfolio strategies to BNY Mellon Wealth Managers, clients and/or their advisors, contributing to business development efforts and expanding existing client relationships, and enhancing product performance.
  • Provide analytical support to BNY Mellon Wealth Management relationship teams while engaging with various internal teams and contributing to process enhancements and technology development efforts.
  • Ideal candidates must have excellent problem-solving capabilities, a high degree of attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Mid level portfolio management working with moderate direction from senior portfolio management.
  • No direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of investment experience preferred or over 2 years of investment experience preferred for MBAs or CFAs.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • As global firm, bi-lingual capabilities are helpful as is an understanding of local/cultural nuances important for client trust
