Akron Children's Pediatrics (ACP) brings pediatric primary care for babies, children and teens to many northeastOhio communities through our40+pediatric offices.Join our established practices in Lisbon and East Liverpool as the practices continue to grow. The Lisbon office has 2 experienced pediatricians and 2 experienced Nurse Practitioners. The East Liverpool office has 1 experienced pediatrician and 1 experienced Nurse Practitioners. This position will split between both offices as the demand for the region continues to expand.

This is an outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers from surrounding offices. Calls only reach the physician after beingscreened by our excellent after-hours nurse triage phone line which handles more than 90% of the calls.The office is open a half day on Saturday mornings which are rotated between all of the providers in surrounding offices. This is a busy existing practice, so we welcome new graduates or established providers to step into a practice that they can continue to develop and grow.

Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies, while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians enjoy the use of EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are all PCMH certified. ThePatient-Centered Medical Homeis a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMHs build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams. Research shows that they improve quality, the patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care costs.

This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

Lisbon is a village in Center Township located in Columbiana County in Ohio with a population of approximately 3,000. It is the county seat of Columbiana County and located in the Salem, OH Micropolitan Statistical Area, as well as the southern regions of the greater Mahoning Valley. The community is served by the Lisbon Exempted Village School district.

The Dulci-More Festival, a music festival dedicated to the Appalachian dulcimer and other traditional musical instruments, was inaugurated in 1995 and takes place each Memorial Day weekend at Camp McKinley, a Boy Scout camp near Lisbon. Lisbon also is the host city to the Columbiana County Johnny Appleseed festival.
