GCC Technologies is sourcing applicants for Case Analyst's to support their client The Small Business Administration. This position will be remote from home but may require some onsite training. Qualified Applicants must reside near Oakland MD 21550. This is currently an active contract. Applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a Government public trust in order to support this contract.


General Responsibilities

Supports analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives. Develops, analyzes, evaluates and advises on methods and techniques to improve organization work processes, procedures, manpower, management controls, information systems, documentation, and similar management functions. Identifies problems and develops recommendations for improvement. Conducts activities in support of project team's objectives. Possesses knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address client's needs. Works closely with Senior Analyst(s) and Portfolio Manager(s).

Essential Functions (contractual requirements)

  • Case Analyst will be responsible for reviewing the applications to ensure the company meets the eligibility requirements needed in order to obtain the necessary verification
  • Case Analyst must have the ability to analyze the submitted documentation, in support of an application, to ensure that a company has submitted the necessary supporting documents and have complied with the eligibility requirements, established within the regulatory guidance
  • Must be able to comprehend and apply regulatory guidance while reviewing applications to ensure a consistent approach to examinations
  • Must be able to work with both internal and external experts to interpret information and assess its effect on the program
  • Case Analyst must be prepared to present data effectively in both oral and written formats to a wide variety of clients to include government officials, using the documents supplied by the company to support your recommendation
  • Possess the ability to validate documents supplied, the capability to research and collect publicly available documents, which must be applied to a company's application to ensure regulatory compliance. Respond to questions from within the Government as well as outside the organization regarding regulatory issues that require an interpretation on a wide variety of issues pertaining to policy, specific to the Center for Veterans Enterprise
  • Additionally, must be prepared to support the overall mission to include answering general enquiries pertaining to the Verification Program, in a Help Desk environment. Furthermore, be willing to perform other duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Training

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Fraud examiner certification is preferred

Skills

  • Reading, writing, and grammar skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research, analysis, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Experience

  • 2-3 years of analytical review work
  • Years of experience in the related field may substitute for degree
