Potomac State College (WVU Keyser), part of the West Virginia University system of campuses, located in Keyser, WV is seeking applications for a Director of Development.
About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Campus President of Potomac State College and working closely with the WVU Foundation, you will manage all aspects of the WVU Potomac State College development program, including managing a comprehensive major gift program to generate current gift revenue from individuals, corporations, and foundations, and deferred gift revenue from individuals. Your primary responsibility is discovery, prospect identification, building relationships and advancing gifts at the $10,000 + level with an emphasis of gifts at the major gifts level at $50,000 + , with a portfolio of assigned prospects, coordinating with the WVU Foundation's Annual Giving program on Potomac State College's annual giving plan, donor stewardship and coordinating prospect/donor visits to campus.
