Project Development Engineer Essential Functions:
Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify system operating inefficiencies within a facility
Facilitate adequate communication among the internal team, sub-contractors, and customers
Assist with performing energy savings calculations, operational savings calculations and life cycle cost analysis of recommendations
Identify and work with subcontractors and consultants to provide technical analysis and descriptions for project installation and to ensure the quality of work delivered exceeds the requirements of the job
Support the sales teams by attending client meetings and presentations
Analyze and prepare conceptual and detailed bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for energy efficient building technology and system measures
Provide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and presentations
Demonstrate good leadership and communications to all
Provide quality customer service and follow-up to customers as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Project Development Engineer experience, technical skills & attributes:
Experience and knowledge in construction industry
Ability to work well with the sales and engineering teams to ensure complete and accurate solutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
An entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to set and manage priorities
Proficiency in operating Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, Bluebeam, etc.
Strong customer advocacy
Good organizational, analytical and problem solving ability
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Energetic with a high sense of urgency
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, preferred
FE Certification or PE preferred, but not mandatory
3+ years of ESCO project development engineering experience preferred but not mandatory
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time Monday - Friday
