This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of reactor plant fluid systems for AP1000 nuclear power plants.
  • Perform thermo-hydraulic calculations of plant safety systems including fluid flow, hydraulic resistance and heat transfer.
  • Prepare design and licensing change packages for modifications to plant safety systems and components.
  • Analyze plant testing and operational data. Perform statistical and uncertainty analysis of complex data sets.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with plant safety systems and components.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field,
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or six years of progressive; 6 plus years preferred.
    • Experience must include working with: (1) engineering design and analysis of fluid systems (thermal hydraulics); (2) instrumentation and controls; (3) test design and data analysis; and (4) statistical analysis
