Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Electrical testing on AC / DC motors for safe operation using Muti-Meters, Megohmmeters, Digital Low Ohm Resistance Meter, and Vibration Analyzers.
  • Test run AC / DC motors no load for proper performance.
  • Test run AC / DC motors full load on dynamometers.
  • Record test data on motor test reports.
  • Final assembly operations such as installing lead boxes, covers, and couplings.
  • Prepare motors for shipment, including painting, and palletizing.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Basic electrical training and experience working on electrical circuits.
  • Able to safely work on energized motors and rotating equipment.
  • Capability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial motors, fans, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.
  • Able to perform balancing and alignment operations on rotating equipment.
  • Excellent electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as required.
