Job Description

As the Delivery Director for Infrastructure and Structured Cabling, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on structured cabling and networking solutions. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, lead a team of professionals, collaborate closely with clients, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The primary objectives of this role are to drive margin and revenue growth, maintain high levels of client satisfaction, and effectively manage stakeholders. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 15 years of experience in the IT infrastructure and structured cabling domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Portfolio Management

  • Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, understanding their specific needs, goals, and challenges. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within each account.
  • Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth within the client portfolio. Develop and execute strategies to maximize margin and revenue, including upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the scope of services offered.

Program Management

  • Lead and oversee the execution of large and complex client programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact program delivery.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations.
  • Lead the delivery team in planning, executing, and completing infrastructure and structured cabling projects for Black Box clients.
  • Monitor project performance, quality, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Client Satisfaction

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by regularly engaging with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and innovative solutions to help them achieve their business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Effectively manage and engage with various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and senior executives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, and finance, to align priorities, address challenges, and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress of client programs and measure the success of the portfolio. Regularly report on performance to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of client delivery managers and coordinators. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including project staff, contractors, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects, with a focus on structured cabling and networking solutions.
  • Proven experience in client delivery management, successfully managing complex projects, including client-facing responsibilities; ability to handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously. Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling standards, networking technologies, and IT infrastructure best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing margin targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
