What you'll do:

Around 50 million people across the world have conditions that leave them without a voice. Most aren't aware that communication technology like ours exists. Our Project & Program Management Team helps to close that gap by bringing ambition and strategic thinking to complex projects that further our mission.

The Business Excellence Project Manager will report to the President of North America and be a member of the leadership team. It will support the Market Unit growth and success by: a) supporting strategy execution, leading the business plan process, and driving transformational development; and b) identifying and facilitating improvements of structure, processes, and ways of working. The person will also provide support to the President NA and leadership team, ensuring efficient work within the areas of responsibility.

Where youll work

While you'll have the option to work from home most days, this role requires occasional travel to meet with internal and external stakeholders.

Your days will be filled with:

Collaborate with the Market unit leadership team to set the business direction and secure follow-up.

  • Lead Business plan work and secure follow-up
  • Support the President with organizational structure & development, e.g. organizational set-up, and competence development for the organization.

Supports process improvement, digitalization, operational development, and business transformation.

  • Leads and collaborates with the project team and stakeholders across North America Market Unit and global organization to secure progress and business value in the project results.
  • Coordinate with other departments within Tobii Dynavox such as marketing and finance to ensure transparency, that dependencies are considered and managed, as well as project status is communicated to relevant parties.
  • Drive your own specific workstreams and deliverables within a project.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage the agenda and action follow-up for the leadership team.
  • Support the President with budget and forecast follow-up
  • Work with the Group Business Excellence & Strategy Execution team ensuring alignment in execution and governance, and act as the link with North America as needed.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in management consulting or similar line organization roles such as strategy, project leader, or business development.
  • Broad understanding of business, organizations, and strategy development
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience from companies with R&D
  • Team player and collaborative personality with good communication and coordination skills and proficiency in the English language
