The Funding Director leads the Funding function, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and optimizing funding processes to achieve revenue growth.

The Funding Director, West Coast must live in the region.

Where youll work

While you'll have the option to work from home most days, this role requires occasional travel to meet with internal and external stakeholders.

Your days will be filled with:

Funding Strategy

  • Plan initiatives and process improvements for Funding processes
  • Identify KPI improvement areas across the entire Funding pipeline and Funding Regions - coach leaders to improve
  • Identify and mitigate risks within Regions and Teams

Funding Leadership

  • Lead Funding management team and set direction for overall staffing
  • Own and develop collaboration with larger external partners such as insurance providers

Securing customer interface

  • Secure great interface with Sales and customer service (incl. trials)
  • Drive development of customer service and experience - e.g., e-funding platform

Owning people development process

  • Secure talent development to ensure continuous growth
  • Secure the right competencies to deliver on strategic targets and objectives

Process improvement

  • Constantly improve upon Funding process (reduce lead time and variance), through driving IT & automation roadmap in close collaboration with IT

Other responsibilities:

  • Securing performance metrics
  • Together with IT and BI functions, set and find ways to refine performance metrics for tracking performance across the organization - on process, individual, team, regional, and state level
  • Lead, engage, and secure team performance
  • Continuously develop processes through understanding how process development, systems & automation can help Funding
  • Understand how to measure the Funding organization and implement the right metrics to drive Funding excellence
  • Communicate and collaborate with Sales, Billing & Collection
  • Secure right-sized and cost-efficient organization and strategies
  • Secure best Funding solution through deep knowledge of customer journey and collaboration with Sales
  • Secure fit-for-purpose people development processes and activities

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in funding authorization or related roles, of which 5+ years in a leadership capacity

  • MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams/Zoom

  • Decisive: Makes informed decisions, considering both short-term needs and long-term organizational goals
