Overview:

The role is an Individual Contributor who conducts routine analyses and tests of various components of a quality control program in the production lines and tests of in-process materials and finished products to ensure conformity to specifications. H

What Your Day to Day Looks Like:

  • Perform the inspections, examinations, and tests according to documented procedures and industry practices. The employee shall be familiar with the inspection tools and equipment to be used and shall be proficient in their use.
  • Plan inspections, examinations, and tests.
  • Set up tests, including related equipment, as appropriate.
  • Supervise or maintain surveillance of inspections, examinations, and tests.
  • Train lower-level personnel
  • Report inspection, examination, and test results.
  • Evaluate the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and test results.
  • Determine if the calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment is current; that the measuring and test equipment (M&TE) is in proper condition; and that the inspection, examination, and test procedures are approved.

What We'd Like to See in You:

  • 2-6 years relevant experience with demonstrated electrical, mechanical, machining or inspection skills. Specific knowledge of electrical or mechanical drawing, or machining plus required mathematics.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Nuclear Industry experience preferred
  • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
  • ANSI N45 2.6 Certification to Visual VT-1 related certifications is preferred
  • USDL Labor Journeyman Certification preferred
