Reporting to the TESLIN Operations Manager, theOperations Maintenance Leadexecutes maintenance activities within TESLIN / Silica. You will develop job plans, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe and efficient work control plan that results in minimum downtime, maximum productivity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine and Coordinate maintenance priorities for the TESLIN and Silica.
• Screen and validate all new notifications from area daily.
• With input from Maintenance Supervisor and Planner, defines the Daily and Weekly Maintenance Schedule
• With Maintenance Supervisor, defines list of "Opportunity" work.
• Work directly with Process Control group to identify and improve potential programming and electrical systems.
• Responsible for coordination of production equipment availability. (Ensures equipment is locked out, cleaned up and ready for maintenance)
• Communicate Weekly and Daily Schedules to Shift Supervisors and other Operations personnel.
• Meet with the Planner, Maintenance and Operations Supervisors and Superintendents to identify work to helps identify the appropriate goals for shutdown.
• Review the preliminary shut schedule(s) with the Planners.
• Help establish priorities, critical jobs, and appropriate timeframes.
• Produce and distribute an operations "time line" with that received from Maintenance.
• Assemble confined space entry packages to include required Hazard Assessment, Ventilation Plan, Safe Work Procedure, Entry Permit and Rescue Plan.
• Be a project originator for maintenance capital in asset area, including documentation.
• Be a technical resource for solving chronic and repeat failures, with reliability engineering.
• Assist other department Supervision in detailed troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent Engineering Degree and experience, that would include some combination of strategic planning, resource allocation, workforce modeling, leadership techniques, control logic, and production methods.
• At least 1 year Supervisory experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
