Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Operations and Development Coordinator (ODC) is a full-time position responsible for overseeing 300 billboard faces in 5 states from an operational perspective including vegetation, structure, and illumination management. In coordination with the Real Estate and Development Department, the ODC will prospect potential sites for new structures. The incumbent must be able to meet on-site for project management and cost bidding. The Operations and Development Coordinator will hold themselves accountable to continuously learn and grow, while:

  • Ensuring that all structures are maintained and clear of vegetation for access and visibility from highways.
  • Meeting contractors on-site as needed to estimate and schedule vegetation removal and maintenance.
  • Preparing permit documentation for vegetation and new construction.
  • Researching potential sites for new structures.
  • Managing contractor pool to complete various operational tasks.

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Experience with contractor management and permitting preparation and/or real estate property research in a general business, construction, or real estate environment.
  • Ability to research and prepare documents, with an understanding of zoning ordinances
  • Proficient in interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude, who welcomes coaching and mentoring

Qualifications

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
