What you'll do:

  • Implement written safety procedures, assess work environments for safety improvements, and participate in investigative processes.
  • Utilize statistical process controls and basic quality tools to optimize processes.
  • Conduct training sessions, oversee equipment management, and enhance production efficiency.
  • Learn factory operations, adhere to SOPs, and evaluate standard reports. Develop, train, and mentor employees.
  • Delegate tasks and manage workflow.
  • Manage Labor contract in union plants.
  • Perform quality inspections on staff, material usage, and production processes.
  • Review reports.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.

We need you to have:

  • College Degree (or relevant work/training experience).
  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in mechanical and manufacturing protocols preferred.
  • Excellent management and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Problem-solving and performance management capabilities.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude skills, ability to interpret blueprints and technical descriptions.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with statistical knowledge.
