WHAT WE OFFER

Covestro is seeking college students currently enrolled in a Chemical Engineering program for a Manufacturing Co-Op position at Polyurethanes Division located in South Charleston, WV. The primary responsibility of this role is to focus on manufacturing engineering tasks. Co-op start date is August 2024.

The incumbent will:

*Complete small unit projects and process optimization studies with supervision. This could include piping, valve, pump, or small vessel design and installation;

*Update unit process engineering documentation (process flow and instrument diagrams or databases).

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic Qualifications:

The selected candidate is required to possess the following:

  • Enrollment in a bachelor degree program with an emphasis in Chemical Engineering;
  • Completion of sophomore year;
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chemical Engineering Major
  • Leadership skills demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular or community service activities.

Skills:

  • Good communication skills for interacting with other personnel;
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn.
