Manager, I&C Quality and Operations Planning

Provide leadership in support of all GIC Quality and Manufacturing activities by ensuring availability, timeliness, and quality of resources (peopleand equipment) in support of GIC projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

This role will ensure the following essential functions and business goals are met:

  • Implement standards contained in Westinghouse "Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct" and ensure that all employees reporting to this position are informed about the standards and related policies and enforce them within this supervised activity.
  • Monitor projects performance indicators to ensure on-time delivery and financial commitments.
  • Partner closely with other functions within Global Operations Services to make strategic decisions in the best interest of Westinghouse, consistent with business goals. (Make-vs-Buy, BCC usage, Consolidation Planning, etc.)
  • Provide leadership and flawless execution throughout the execution of strategic changes or consolidation, as approved by Westinghouse leadership.
  • Continue to manage SAP planning and production location (WITC), driving standardization and consistent use of Master Data.
  • Lead GICP production support personnel and GIC Quality Assurance teams, reviewing performance and continuing their development.
  • Lead Bid &Proposal efforts for both GIC manufacturing opportunities and GIC Quality
  • Work with GICP production teams (Assembly & Quality Control) with production support personnel to ensure all GIC manufacturing commitments are met along with identifying best practices and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Who You Are:


As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • Solid working knowledge of nuclear I&C products and projects.
  • Broad understanding of WEC and GOS business and strategic initiatives and transformational goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Nuclear Industry Quality and Regulatory requirements.
  • Understand business and financial management processes including balance sheet, cash flow management and project schedules.
  • Must have a high degree of process orientation and experience in applying process improvement to workflow optimization.
  • Must have planning/logistic and project management experience; be familiar with manufacturing facilities operational needs and regulatory issues.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline. Typically, ten to fifteen years of related experience in I&C manufacturing and system testing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP and Manufacturing modules contained therein.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to hold yourself and team accountable to commitments.
  • Ability to build a team and work across organizational boundaries.
