ATI has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our team! Reporting to our Director - Business Services, this role will support a variety of process improvements and projects for Finance, Procurement and Human Resources. The IT Project Manager will work on a variety of critical business projects across multiple function with a wide set of stakeholders.

A successful Project Manager is a thought-leader, problem solver and has a blend of project management and business acumen, technical understanding, business analysis, analytical capabilities, and communication skills. Successful Project Managers also have an advanced understanding of various Project Management Methodologies and when they should be leveraged.

In order to become successful, you'll have to quickly understand opportunities and problems, formulate a plan, build a team and execute to achieve successful business outcomes. You'll also have to navigate requirement elicitation activities, recommend strategic solutions, and bring people together around a common goal and achieve success.

Essential Functions:

  • Determine the objectives of an assignment, and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to achieve measurable business outcomes
  • Key activities for this role include: Scoping and running full project lifecycle from idea to outcome including business process design, requirements gathering, solution design and business case development.
  • Provide project management oversight of key development activities.
  • Ability to drive the contract/vendor selection process with a cross-functional group.
  • Working with urgency and driving results and escalating roadblocks.
  • Deep ability to organize programs and drive to gain alignment with stakeholders
  • Build relationships with business stakeholders and promote IT strategy and capabilities.
  • Drive business process reengineering efforts where opportunities arise.
  • Coordinate activities as necessary with cross functional IT teams.
  • Support application testing activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, project management or information technology
  • At least 5 years' experience leading or managing a team of technical and business resources to deliver project driven business outcomes within a manufacturing or industrial company with multiple facilities
    • In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional 2+ years of project management experience will be considered
  • PMI, Microsoft or other IT related certifications preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening) skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives, business users, and technical staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills (facilitation, leadership and influencing, teamwork, negotiation and conflict resolution, teaching)
  • Predisposition to collaborate with others in the attainment of common goals and objectives, as well as the ability to thrive in a nurturing, caregiver-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills (creative thinking, decision making, learning, problem solving, systems thinking, conceptual thinking, visual thinking)
  • Knowledge of and experience using various tools and technologies in the field (office productivity, business analysis, communication)
  • Strong organization and time management skills with a high level of adaptability
  • Personal accountability and pride in delivered work
