POSITION REPORTS TO: VP Operations 

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an experienced electrical engineer, you will troubleshoot production issues, enhance testing methods, and analyze recurrent failures. Your expertise in board-level troubleshooting, electro-mechanical assembly, and strong communication skills will be essential for success.  No visa sponsorship for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and remediate production related issues
  • Create, improve, and maintain testing and assembly methods and processes
  • Collect and maintain detailed records and statistics for product improvement efforts
  • Identify and suggest/improve product reliability elements
  • Analyze recurrent failures, apply corrective actions and monitor results
  • Design, build, and support PCBA and subassembly test fixtures
CAPABILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidate will need capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. Trade Control Laws.  
  • Extensive board level troubleshooting of production PCBAs and in-depth analysis of board level failures from the field
  • Digital and microcontroller based logic
  • Basic analog and data acquisition circuitry
  • Communications and networking
  • Battery related circuits
  • Power supplies and power conversion
  • Electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Experienced with electro-mechanical product assembly and manufacturing concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work both independently and within team environments
  • Working familiarity with Linux and tools
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an equivalent capacity

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
