JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Program Manager's will be primarily responsible for managing the Interim Solutions Consultant sales team along with the Senior Solutions Consultant program. The Sales Program Manager will lead their team to drive revenue growth for North America Sales and supplement the territory-based work that the District Sales Managers are responsible for. The person in this role should be an experienced team member that will be directly responsible for ensuring seamless transition of territory coverages and boosting our sales team as a support function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES:

Depending on organizational and customer needs, the focus of the Sales Program Manager may evolve over time. In general, the Sales Program Manager must be skilled in the key areas outlined below.

Staff Development

  • Hire, train, and grow a pro-active team of Interim Solutions Consultants that will deliver exceptional customer experiences during gaps in localized solutions consultant presence.
  • Balance team member strengths and bandwidth to align with specific territory needs.
  • Coach revenue generating practices that align with the fundamental ideals of the company.
  • Work with District Sales Managers and North America Sales Directors to generate programmatic deliverables for the Senior Solutions Consultant Program
  • Anticipate needs of the market alongside the Sales Management team to leverage strengths of the Senior Solutions Consultant Program across the sales team through training opportunities, onboarding practices, mentoring, or elevated leadership opportunities.

Financial Management

  • Ensure smart coverage of territory assignments by leveraging a balance of in-person and virtual coverage support.
  • Analyze and oversee activity measures within the team to maximize output from field travel.
  • Align with Sales Management team to ensure overall market revenue goals are attained.

Strategic Planning

  • Coordinate with District Sales Managers to anticipate potential vacancy or leaves and align team accordingly.
  • Set clear objectives for Interim Solutions Consultants and track progress.
  • Track and implement agreed upon Senior Solutions Consultant program schedule or activities.

Organizational Management

  • Work across multi-disciplinary teams to assure ensure correct and efficient communication across the organization. Must timely report into and out of various departmental groups frequently as coverage dates change.
  • Prioritize and manage corporate information with the knowledge of time sensitivity, political/legal ramifications, and confidentiality issues
  • Provide feedback on products and services needed in the field to Tobii-Dynavox
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

Professional Development and Ethics:

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry through awareness of associations, publications, and seminars as well as networking with customers, competitors, and industry related colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or BA preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years management experience or a history of successful sales experience
  • Leadership experience and demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and customers
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience working in the field relating to assigned audience a plus
  • Experience in Speech Language Pathology or Special Education a plus

  • Learn new technologies quickly

  • Experience with Tobii Dynavox and/or Boardmaker products

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed to support business
  • Willing and able to travel across US and/or Canada up to 25%; should live in the continental US
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
