Fills and delivers supply requisitions and par levels for both medical and non-medical supplies for all hospital departments. Assist with stocking inventory in the storeroom. Transports equipment and supplies both internally and outside the hospital. Receives, sorts, and delivers U.S. and interoffice mail to all hospital departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Valid Driver's License.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Storeroom, shipping and receiving, distribution or related experience

2. Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

EXPERIENCE:

1. One (1) year inventory control experience

2. Customer relations experience.

3. Computer related experience in a shipping/warehouse environment.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Inventories floor stock on all par level units, determines quantity to be restocked, picks items from the storeroom and delivers stock to units and restocks the shelves, while maintaining cleanliness and order of these floor stock areas.

2. Picks and delivers all requisitioned inventoried supplies.

3. Receives and stocks all supplies.

4. Transports, receives, and delivers equipment and supplies as necessary.

5. Maintains and monitors supplies. Rotates stock as necessary. Ensures appropriate levels of inventory.

6. Receives, sorts and delivers U.S. and inter-office mail to all hospital departments. Sorts and distributes patient mail to the volunteers and prepares outgoing mail.

7. Assists in maintaining a high standard of housekeeping both in storeroom and on par levels, including assigned rows.

8. Processes all expedited packages for outgoing shipment (UPS, FedEx, USPS).

9. Performs other duties as assigned to include assuming receiving, courier and mail-room responsibility.

4. Ability to apply principles of reasoning and problem solving to resolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
