Work Days and Expected Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department)
Function:Provides internal and external customer service in a centralized Loan Servicing Center and performs various administrative and clerical duties in support of the operation of the Loan Systems Department (Insurance/Escrow processing, Credit Insurance Servicing).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will perform some of the following functions for the servicing of loans:
Credit Insurance/ Debt Cancellation Servicing - Includes but is not limited to
Assists customers with claims
Processing Payments
Assists customers with issues that arise
Assists S&T Bank Accounting Department with monthly reconcilements of new and current business
PMI Servicing - Includes but is not limited to
Processing monthly payments to Servicers
Assists customers with the cancellation process
FNMA Processing - Includes but is not limited to
Daily reporting of Monthly and Biweekly payments using SURF
Daily Cash Remittance using SURF
Loading Participations on all New FNMA Loans Sold
Escrow Servicing - Incudes but is not limited to
Assists with the Semi-Annual Tax payment Processing including preparing tax bills to be paid and paying tax bills before the Discount Date
Pays Annual Hazard and Flood Insurance payments
Assists with daily reports that monitor new escrows loaded to the system and escrows from paid off loans
Assists customers with various escrow issues and questions
Has a general understanding of the Annual Escrow Analysis process and can assist customers with general questions
Performs general account maintenance such as billing adjustments, payment schedules, etc. related to Credit Insurance, PMI, and Escrow
Researches and resolves questions for both internal & external customers
Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization
Assumes additional duties as required.
Physical Demands
Utilizes fingers and manual dexterity skills for typing, filing, and data entry on a frequent basis up to 95% of the business day. Possess the ability to focus visually at a close distance of 18"-20" for a period of up to 85% of the business day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, stand, walk, and reach with hand and/or arm throughout the business day. Education
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
Experience
One to two years general experience.

Salary Range:
$15.00 - $19.23
