Overview

As an Environmental Project Manager with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be responsible for managing current clients and developing new business, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and providing senior direction on a variety of projects for real estate, manufacturing, industrial, governmental, waste management and energy clients.

Qualifications
    5 to 15 years of experience;
  • Manage, plan, coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations and activities of field environmental compliance staff including but not limited to the following major program sections: groundwater sampling & monitoring, stormwater management, and environmental compliance programs;
  • Research, review, and interpret technical regulations, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to all aspects of programmatic areas; develop and ensure adherence to program SOPs; prepare budgeting, accruals and associated reporting mechanisms and track progress on a monthly basis; ensure data is supplied to State and Federal oversight agencies as required;
  • Compile and analyze programmatic data; prepare technical and legal reports and correspondence regarding compliance requirements and fulfillment by relevant agencies; regularly review legislative and federal/state/regional agency oversight and impact on local programs; work with clients to develop appropriate responses;
  • Conduct inspections in all areas of groundwater sampling, and stormwater management to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations;
  • Investigate environmental violations, oversee corrective actions, and take necessary enforcement actions such as responding notices of violation, citations, or administrative orders.
