Lead Java Engineer (Hybrid)

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the "team", drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

• Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

• Primary Skills : Java8/11, Spring Boot, Microservice, Spring Framework, REST & SOAP Webservices API, MQ/JMS/ Kafka, JUNIT testing and Database experience
• Secondary Skills : Any Cloud, CICD DevOps
• Design, Development and Unit testing coverage
• Resolution of the vulnerability issues or security issues in the application
• Knowledge on data models usage with the Java class level design to map and explore the performance improvements in the app
• CICD and DevOps concepts and some exposure will be helpful with the development exposure on the app
