The PittEnrich Instructional Coach will work 10 hours/week during the PittEnrich Tutoring program. This person is responsible for providing initial and ongoing professional development for PittEnrich tutors in conducting reading and math assessments and tutoring, among other topics, both in school and during Saturday programming. In addition, the Instructional Coach will review all lesson plans, alongside the PittEnrich Graduate Instructional Assistants, for Saturday tutoring and provide feedback and suggestions as needed.
The Instructional Coach will observe tutors during select Saturday sessions to provide individualized feedback and support to tutors. The Instructional Coach will assist School of Education faculty in assessing the effectiveness of the PittEnrich program by supporting program evaluation and reporting out to stakeholders. A Bachelor's Degree is required and 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
Recruits, trains, and supervises peer tutors. Serves as the administrative point of contact and academic coach for academic training programs. Directs and completes probation review. Collaborates to deliver and develop seminars and resources.
