This position manages a team of 5 employees and oversees the day-to-day responsibilities for the Work Control Center team. The candidate will be responsible for creating work orders and preventative maintenance, reviewing requests for accuracy, creating user records, creating dashboards and reports, and overall CMMS maintenance including troubleshooting. Responsible for using the department's job cost accounting system. Responsible for and oversees the building access rights and privileges to Facilities Management staff and contractors. Works closely with other University departments to ensure that University policies are being adhered to. This position requires high-level organizational skills and the ability to coordinate tasks and records to ensure policy compliance.Provides fleet management support and oversite. Managing 50+ vehicles including inspections, collision repair coordination, and other administrative functions. Provides administrative support to Facilities Management staff as required.
Oversees day-to-day operations of the control center and supervises team. Manages the radio system, elevator operations, and inspection schedules. Interfaces with customers. Pays invoices, initiates service contracts, and purchases orders. Aids in the implementation of standards, policies, and protocols and maintains reports.
Prior management experience is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. This position requires a high level of organization and the ability to coordinate tasks and records and work independently. Minimum 5 years of customer service experience.
Lift, push or pull ten pounds or more. This is a sedentary position.
