Primary Responsibilities

  • Support approximately 25-50 syndication/participation loan transactions daily to include payment processing, wiring funds, converting interest rates, etc.
  • Perform the administrative agent function for all syndicated loans/facilities; ensure proper flow of information and funds between borrowers and participants/investors to include manual remittance generation and possible calculations.
  • Prepare loan related accounting transactions and handle manual adjustments to appropriate reports; maintain electronic filing system with all required information.
  • Multitasking, as every syndicated loan is complicated and has a variety of moving parts.
  • Developing and strengthening internal and external bank relationships through effective communication to include research and resolution.
  • Ability to excel in a manual environment with a dedicated focus on collaboration.
  • Review and understanding of Loan Documentation to ensure proper recording of transactions.
  • Ensure that information received from agent banks is promptly and accurately acted upon within core system.
  • Adhere to relevant Compliance policies and procedures, including those for Operational Risk, Regulatory requirements and BSA/AML/CIP.

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for performing various duties to support the servicing functions of loan operations, coordinating work within the department and with other departments and reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor. The incumbent is responsible for responding to inquiries or requests for information and maintaining the security of the department and account information.

Primary Responsibilities:
Prepares closing documents and modifications for small business and commercial loans and is measured against established volume levels, reviews request for compliance with Bank policy and procedure and advises Lenders or Underwriters of deficiencies.
Executes all aspects of loan servicing, including escrow accounts, remittance and reporting, posts payments for participated loans, maintains SWAP loans base on established procedures and defines time lines with all functions meeting compliance requirements, timely recording of financial entries and customer satisfaction.
Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure smooth and efficient flow of information. Writes job procedures for assigned duties for final approval by immediate supervisor.
Performs a post closing review of new commercial loans for compliance to Bank policies and procedures as measured against established average volumes.
Responds to inquiries or requests from customers and other company personnel within given time frames and within established policy. Processes document requests from various service providers.
Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule. Compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate company personnel.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Education:
High School or GED
