Summary

In high-velocity organizations, it is common practice to decentralize change approval, making the peer review a top predictor of high performance. At Stifel, this decentralization is performed through an advisory board which facilitates cross-departmental approval.

Our main goal is to ensure there is awareness and preparedness for changes which may be impactful to the business

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducting the advisory board meeting(s) and documenting accordingly.
  • Responding to high risk emergency changes by capturing IT Leaders approval.
  • Reviewing change records for quality and adherence to business standards.
  • Meeting with teams to develop and update change templates to automate procedures.
  • Coordinating with development teams to continue compromise with agile deployment methodology.
  • Coordinating with other IT Service Management practice owners to ensure procedures are integrated.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify complex problems; review related information and develop options and implement solutions.
  • Experience deploying and managing assets in a CMDB or other asset data repository system
  • Ability to demonstrate proactive approach to problem resolution, strong troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software components utilized in an enterprise-wide organization
  • Knowledge of IT Audit techniques and industry standards.
  • Understanding of a broad range of IT disciplines
  • Proficiency in relating complex technical situations to non-technical customers.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to delegate project plans to other associates

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent; or equivalent work experience required
  • 1+ years' experience in IT Service Management, Business Process Management, or IT experience required
