Key Responsibilities

• Achieve all production objectives through accurate planning to meet production schedules and delivering high quality products, which meet specifications
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials used within the production department, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment to ensure safety of all employees
• Manage staff selection, performance, development, and training processes to ensure team proficiencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations. Also steps out of respective work area to improve other areas
• May also be a level above a supervisor within high-volume production environments
• Consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work some weekends, minor variation in schedule(s), and additional hours
• Coordinate/Analyzes work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to improve productivity within the department
• Identify and tackles problems related to production process/flow and provides production reports to assist process improvement
• Contribute to the development of processes and procedures
• Supervise daily activities of production area to ensure that safety, volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved
• Take the lead on site-wide initiatives from the supervisor perspective, creating a cohesive team environment among the supervisory group
• May also be tasked to coordinate other activities outside their assigned manufacturing group

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
• Bachelor's degree in business management, related field or equivalent years of related experience required
• Ability to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Salary Range: $75,000.00 to $110,000 Depending on experience
