The Office for Veterans Affairs mission is to provide advice and assistance to Pennsylvania's one million veterans and their families and to provide quality care to aging veterans.

AMVETS Career Centers, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation that provides career opportunities. It provides services which include training and employment assistance for veterans, active duty service members, The National Guard, and The Reserves who have served honorably or are currently serving.

Our Mission is: To promote the welfare of blinded veterans so that, notwithstanding their disabilities, they may take their rightful place in the community and work with their fellow citizens toward the creation of a peaceful world. To preserve and strengthen a spirit of fellowship among blinded veterans so that they may give mutual aid and assistance to one another. To maintain and extend the institution of American freedom and encourage loyalty to the Constitution and laws of the United States and of the states in which they reside.

Since its founding more than 80 years ago, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) has been dedicated to a single purpose: building better lives for America's disabled veterans and their families. Fidelity to that mission has required DAV to respond creatively and flexibly to changing and sometimes unpredictable challenges faced by its constituency. Whether disabled veterans have needed a voice on Capitol Hill, a nationwide service program, a transportation network or unique rehabilitation opportunities, DAV has focused its attention and resources to meet those needs.

The Morgantown WorkForce West Virginia Center serves as the entry point for a variety of employment and training services available to businesses and individuals in Monongalia and Preston Counties. The facility houses the One-Stop Center which encourages involvement of community agencies and businesses (One-Stop Partners) so that customers can receive various services at one convenient location.

Operation Homefront (OH) provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. Through generous, widespread public support and a collaborative team of exceptional staff and volunteers, we aspire to become the provider of choice for emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. Where there is a need we do not provide, we will partner with others for the benefit of our military families.

The Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS) provides access to Pennsylvania workforce development and independent living services provided by the Departments of Labor & Industry and Public Welfare.
